Hats are an ideal accent that displays your personal fashion style. There are so many trend choices to choose from ranging from materials, designs, and colors. I used to be terrified of hats. But ever since my first one last winter I’ve embraced them and now I can’t get enough of them. Do not be afraid to play with the different styles. In case you are presently on the hunt for an ideal hat, “look no more”. I’ve acquired all types of fabulous hats and fedoras from Terell Shaw Millinery. Terell told me the secret to buying hats.
“Never assume which hat you would look good in. Try them all and the one that feels the most comfortable to you is the winner.”
I’m going to share with you two of my latest favorites type of hats today and how to style them. YESSSSSSS, I do know that we see so many ladies and men rocking stylish headwear, like wide brims, fedoras, brimless, Terell’s most popular tear-drop cap and plenty more. So you question yourself, It looks good on them but not on me?. Well my response to that is sort of obvious. Those individuals owned it and implemented them with their own style. It doesn’t matter the pattern each style can be paired with numerous stylish garments.
When I received the phone call from Terell Shaw himself asking me to select two types of straw hats for the summer, I was completely shocked.
“Excitement was an Understatement”
I asked him how would it work with my big hair. He counseled me on the different shapes that would work with big natural hair. So I decided to choose a June Ambrose inspired top hat, with an exaggerated wide-brim. Based off of the large floppy brim, and the classic high topped fedora. The colors that I chose were royal blue and fuchsia which happens to be two of my favorite colors.
Here are some different ways I like to style my Hats
- Going to the beach all day? A large wide brim or floppy hat looks so good with a cute cover up and your bathing suit.
- A white dress, jean jacket and a hat is the perfect outfit.
- Pairing a hat with a graphic tee some shorts and lace up shoes is always a trendy look.
- If you’re a mom like me, I’m always running out the house quickly so a tank some jeans and a hat works every time.
- My favorite look is printed pants. Wear yours with a hat and look extra chic.
Which of these looks are your favorite? Which style hat is your favorite the wide-brim top hat, or the fedora? What types of style tips do you want to see? Tell me in the comments!
